Job Title: Critical Facilities Operations Manager What this job involves: The Critical Facilities Operations Manager oversees daily operations of critical facility infrastructure and corporate campus buildings, ensuring continuous uptime of mission-critical systems. This leadership role involves managing technical staff, maintaining preventative maintenance programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and developing innovative programs to reduce costs while increasing productivity. The position requires strong technical expertise in critical systems and the ability to manage relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Your day-to-day tasks will include: * Oversee daily operations of critical facility infrastructure including power systems, UPS, cooling systems, HVAC, fire/life safety systems, generators, and BMS systems * Maintain and optimize preventative maintenance programs for critical assets and base building components to ensure continuous uptime * Review, analyze, and optimize critical systems performance in weekly team meetings with chief engineers * Manage technical staff, complete employee reviews, and supervise vendor performance during normal and off-hours operations * Maintain emergency response protocols and oversee JLL JCAP compliance program with current electronic and paper documentation * Create and review MOPs and MCS documents for bi-weekly client approval meetings * Develop and manage operation budgets and capital budgets while assisting with monthly variance reporting * Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for clients as requested * Develop innovative programs and procedures to reduce operating costs and increase productivity Desired experience and technical skills: * 7-10 years of experience in critical facilities operations and management * Background in data center, healthcare, or other mission-critical facility management * Experience in matrix management organizations * Strong knowledge of critical facility systems including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, BMS, and fire life safety systems * Understanding of reliability, redundancy, and uptime requirements for mission-critical environments * Knowledge of life cycle analysis of critical and non-critical assets * Proven track record in maintaining and managing operation and capital budgets * Strong organizational and management capabilities with ability to multitask Requirements: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience with management/technical emphasis * Strong knowledge and understanding of one-line drawings and ability to interpret blueprints and CAD drawings * Excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills * Superior verbal and written communication skills * Proficient in MS Office, MS SharePoint, Excel, Smart Sheet, and facility management CMMS software Preferred: * Technical certifications in critical facilities management (e.g., Certified Critical Facilities Manager, EPA certification, electrical license) * Knowledge of AutoCAD * Experience with VESDA systems, suppression gas systems, and water detection systems Location: On-site -Fort Worth, TXIf this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply, even if you don't meet all the requirements.
