We are currently seeking an exceptional Supply Chain Operations Director to join our team.

About Role:

As Supply Chain Operation Director: Leading the recovery activities on high risk and critical parts to deliver operational plans and minimize disruption across all customers in the region. This includes instigating procurement and alternative sourcing activities to mitigate any supply gaps. Developing relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers up to a senior level to build relationships, gain intelligence, influence and make day to day decisions including management of supplier capability and capacity and customer performance. Direct and indirect responsibility for a small to medium team of professionals. The scope focuses not only on the 28-day risk parts but all supply chain gaps in the full order book.

Key Activities:

  • Resolve customer problems at a senior level, expedite, escalate issues and champion the customer needs.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the department.
  • Build relationships with customers at a senior management level and act as a point of escalation for all critical parts issues. The nature of the relationship will involve negotiation, influencing and acting as a representative for Incora.
  • Manage the recovery programmer for critical parts with the objective of reducing the overall risk to customer deliveries and minimizing exposure to customer penalties.
  • Provide key prioritization signals into both external and internal customers to allow them to prioritize and manage workload accordingly.
  • Provide SCOM operational and functional support across key customers for Incora across the regional customer base.
  • Manage key internal relationships across functions, predominantly with Commercial, Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations and Quality to exchange information and draw on expertise to resolve problems within the supply chain.

About You:

  • Degree or equivalent in Engineering or Business Management related subject or qualified by experience
  • Project Management Qualification or relevant skills and experience
  • Extensive experience in establishing, driving and developing customer relationships
  • Extensive supply chain operations experience
  • Technical components and manufacturing knowledge would be beneficial
  • People management and leadership experience
  • Significant experience in establishing, driving and developing supplier relationships
  • Significant materials management experience of multi-layer bills of materials
