Yext is seeking a top-tier candidate for a Senior Manager, Revenue Business Systems position to join its growing and dynamic accounting team within a fast-paced organization. This role will be responsible for streamlining revenue operations through technology, process design, and integration of acquired businesses. Reporting to the Senior Director of Accounting, this role will work closely with other members of the Revenue, General Ledger, IT, Business Applications, and Deal Desk teams. The ideal candidate will have experience with and a strong understanding of US GAAP, inclusive of ASC 606 Revenue Recognition, internal controls, and SaaS revenue workflows, including quoting, provisioning, invoicing, revenue recognition, and reporting. What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with Revenue Accounting, Deal Desk, IT, and Business Applications teams to define and prioritize business requirements and revenue systems roadmap
  • Act as a liaison between IT and Finance to drive evaluation and implementation of revenue financial systems and processes, partnering closely with IT and Business Applications teams on cross-functional system integrations and implementations
  • Drive automation and efficiency across order-to-cash processes, including quoting, provisioning, invoicing, collections, and revenue recognition
  • Lead integration of revenue and billings processes for recently acquired businesses
  • Update Finance team and leadership on project status, timelines, and key decisions on a regular basis
  • Partner with Internal Audit to design and implement appropriate controls environment around revenue systems and lead external audit support for revenue system related ITGCs
  • Partner with Revenue Accounting, FP&A, GTM teams, and leadership to develop standardized reporting dashboards and close reports
  • Monitor ongoing systems health and partner with IT to identify and resolve any Finance related revenue systems issues
  • Evaluate and educate the team on new revenue systems and industry trends
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and reviews and respond to inquiries from senior management


What You Have

  • Degree in Accounting, Management Information Systems, or related field
  • 10+ years of accounting and financial systems experience
  • CPA is preferred
  • Deep hands-on experience with revenue accounting tech stack, including SFDC, NetSuite, Avalara, and Zuora/Rev Pro
  • Proven track record leading systems implementations, upgrades, and process improvements in a fast-paced, scaling, public SaaS company
  • Strong understanding of ASC 606 - Revenue Recognition, and Lead to Cash process
  • Strong knowledge and application of internal controls
  • Excellent project management, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization and broadly across business units
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and communication skills (verbal and written) with a sharp focus on details
  • Ability to recognize problems, gather data, draw valid conclusions and effectively present information to managers, peers and customers
  • Excellent time-management skills, ability to prioritize and be flexible as priorities shift
  • High degree of dedication to continuous improvement and strong sense of ownership

Pay ranges at Yext are established based on an analysis of salaries for positions with a similar level of accountability and impact in the relevant labor market. Salary levels are expected to change to reflect an employee's job performance (results and impact) over time. Salaries at the time of hire are typically offered in the lower to middle of the above-referenced range in order to provide the opportunity to reflect performance-based increases over time. In addition to base salaries, employees at Yext are typically eligible for a comprehensive package of benefits including medical, dental and vision benefits; life insurance; short term and long-term disability; 401(k) retirement plan; and vacation and sick leave. Successful candidates may also be eligible for equity (stock) based compensation and/or variable pay programs based on performance relative to goals and targets.

$124,650 $229,000 USD
