A Day in the Life of an Associate Project Manager at Hanson

Here's a snapshot of what you would do in this role:

• Drive project success by managing client relationships, developing project scopes, and providing strategic vision from project inception to execution.

• Oversee engineering excellence through roadway, civil sitework, stormwater management, and utility design projects while ensuring compliance with regulations.

• Collaborate with design staff, contribute to recruitment and retention, and drive performance improvements.

• Engage in business development, prepare proposals, and participate in marketing activities to expand our project base.

• Conduct thorough Quality Assurance and Quality Control reviews, and manage construction assistance and administration duties.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (advanced degree is a plus).

• Minimum 8 years of combined experience in transportation, site design, and project management in the AEC industry.

• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of IL or the ability to obtain one within the first 6 months of hire.

• Experience in transportation and/or municipal engineering preferred. State DOT experience is a plus.

The salary range for this position is: $110,000 - $150,000. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. The salary offered to a candidate is based on years of relevant experience.
