Job Summary The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for assisting with HR-related duties on a professional level and reports to the HR Director. This position is responsible for coordinating HR processes and systems, supporting recruitment and onboarding, maintaining employee records, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies, and company morale events. Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks
  1. Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all organization personnel
  2. Assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; helps prepare and maintain the employee handbook and the policies and procedures.
  3. Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.
  4. Tracks various important items for the HR department.
  5. Assists in brainstorming process for optimizing the department as well as recognizing areas for improvement.
  6. Heads the process of digitizing all employee/organizational documents.
  7. Responsible for outreach measures in diversifying recruiting efforts.
  8. Responsible for assisting with onboarding and offboarding process for all employees.
  9. Supports planning and executing employee morale and wellness program activities and events on a regular basis.
  10. Supports HR Director and HR Generalist as needed.
  11. Assists in performance review processes, including tracking deadlines and collecting reviews.
  12. Maintains employee files and records in compliance with legal requirements and company policies.

  • Minimum of an associate's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, or Organizational Development.
  • 1-4years of experience in human resources or administrative roles.
  • Knowledge of HR functions and best practices.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • A self-starter with a strong desire to learn.
  • Must have own transportation.
  • Available hours between 9:00am - 5:00pm.
  • Willingness to work on a flexible schedule.

  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching skills.
  • Excellent organizational management skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
