Inside the Role

The Product and Sales Support Specialist, Motorcoaches role acts as an interface / liaison between the DCNA sales team and the manufacturing plant in Europe ensuring a correct technical vehicle specification, processing the production orders and monitoring the production timelines. This role is also responsible for maintaining correct documentation and compliance with regulation of all vehicles within the DCNA Portfolio. Implementing an active product, price and promotion strategy for coaches throughout the entire life cycle, based on sales input and market developments, so that a competitive and optimal delivery program for the US market is created and the associated actions optimally match the objectives of DCNA. Providing product management input for communication tools in consultation with the communication team to promote the brand positioning and the product USPs. Responsible for accurate management of the (production) planning process (KUFRI), so that the correct production numbers are allocated for the US market. Acting as a point of contact for Product Management Germany for US input in product development and thus initiating desired product developments, so that the opportunities for DCNA on the US market are increased. Participation in various projects.

Position offers a starting salary range of $104,000.00 - $133,000.00 USD

Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, andexperience

What You Drive at DTNA

* Manage the interface between the DCNA sales force and the manufacturing plants of the coaches in Europe. Ensure all new vehicle specifications are accurately documented & processed. Liaise with relevant Sales Managers concerning vehicle technical specification in order to meet customer's requirements.
* Ensure vehicle orders are within the required build slots. Planning and execution of stock orders in line with the company sales operating planning.

* Review and monitor all DCNA production orders placed in the plants as well as amending and translating, where appropriate using the necessary computer systems (NOVIS/SAP). Coordinate and answer factory queries, provide updates to the sales team and liaise with any local sub suppliers. Perform changes to order specifications in alignment with the order management in the plant.

* Maintain an accurate accountability/documentation of each vehicle order in the SAP-System (ASE).

* Prepare regular reporting for production orders, and sales orders activity.

* Document photographically units arrived in FL for use in marketing activities.

* Perform a continuous reporting of the NA motorcoach market including analysis of specific segments (manufacturer, vehicle types, etc.), regions, trends including data mining / visualization / market research.

Knowledge You Should Bring

  • Bachelor degree and 5 years of relevant experience in sales or customer service in the automotive or commercial vehicle industry is required.

  • Fine attention to detail & accountability is necessary as well as being a people person with excellent customer service knowledge.

  • Ability to work with multiple CRM platforms including MS Office, SAP, Novis, Salesforce, etc

  • Technical knowledge, skill and education in fields related to mechanical engineering or commercial vehicles.

  • Communication: Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong professional conversation etiquette.

  • Time management and organization: master a variety of organization methods, to handle multiple projects at one time and completing tasks efficiently and accurately.

  • Understanding and ability to explain complex product details and processes, act as a consultant to define most suitable configuration options, capabilities and subsequent processes.

  • An attached resume is required.

Exceptional Candidates Might Have

  • German language skills a plus
