Maintenance Technician - Weekend Shift

About the Role:

We're looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our growing team! If you enjoy fixing things, working with tools, and keeping equipment running smoothly, this could be the perfect fit. You'll help maintain our manufacturing equipment and facility to keep everything operating safely and efficiently.

In this position, you will get to:

  • Repair and maintain machines and equipment used in manufacturing
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform emergency repairs
  • Do routine maintenance like lubrication and safety checks
  • Help with facility upkeep: light carpentry, plumbing, painting, and concrete repair
  • Support remodeling projects and special equipment installations
  • Work with systems like HVAC, compressed air, and inert gas
  • Use blueprints and manuals to guide your work
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team on breakdowns and projects

You Have:

  • High school diploma required; trade school or military training is a plus
  • Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with tools and repairs
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred
  • Comfortable reading blueprints and following safety procedures
  • Ability to work weekend shift schedule: Saturday - Monday, Friday - Sunday or Saturday & Sunday
  • Ability to get a special boiler license and 608 certifications within 9 months
  • Basic computer skills (email, websites, etc.)

Pay Transparency

nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

Compensation Range: $23.91 - $28.49/hour
