Physical Therapist CWR

The role provides physical therapy services to individuals and their families in collaboration with other healthcare providers in a designated setting by the department.

• Perform all functions associated with the evaluation of patients for all age groups within the department's responsibility.
• Execute therapeutic treatment for all age groups within the department's responsibility.
• Complete all required documentation within the designated timeline according to the department.
• Lift a minimum of 50 lbs., push and pull a minimum of 100 lbs., and stand for a minimum of 6 hours a day.
• Identify the needs of the patient population served and modify and deliver care specific to those needs (i.e., age, culture, language, hearing and/or visually impaired, etc.). This process includes communicating with the patient, parent, and/or primary caregiver(s) at their level (developmental/age, educational, literacy, etc.).
• Adhere to the standards identified in the Medical Center's Organizational Competencies.

• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy school.

• New Jersey Physical Therapy License.

• 2 years of experience required.
• Preferred: 5 years of experience in orthopedics, general medicine, neurology, etc., in an acute care hospital setting.

• Tuesday - Saturday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (5 x 8 hr shifts)
• Weekend Requirement: Yes - Saturdays
• Holidays Required as Needed
• No On-Call Requirement
• No Float Requirement
