Position Overview:

Analyze, track and process vendor price changes, perform spend analysis on key cost saving opportunities and make recommendations to control and optimize material expenditures. Ensure vendor pricing and customer pricing is accurately represented in all systems to customer orders and purchase orders are accurate.



Your Impact

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

    Manage supplier price change analysis from start to finish including data analysis, review of special pricing, contract pricing, and historical price changes to determine the impact on the enterprise
  • Provide timely implementation and documentation of the price change
  • Understand and be comfortable working with a complex price matrix system
  • Work efficiently to implement and resolve marketing requests or customer related pricing requests
  • Ensure and monitor pricing in the system is accurate for both Procurement and Customer data
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies timely and accurately
  • Create and maintain pricing records for new and active product listings
  • Perform research and sourcing projects as assigned by manager

Knowledge and Skill:

  • Proficient in Windows technology including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Able to multi-task & prioritize with a keen sense of urgency
  • Detailed & numbers oriented
  • Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and handle stress well
  • Excellent analytical skills with good understanding of business financials
  • Outstanding organizational skills including planning, tracking and follow up
  • Strong data gathering, compilation, manipulation and report preparation
  • Work with minimum supervision and be self-starter with focus on achieving goals
  • Able to work independently and provide support to others as needed
  • Act with integrity in all ways and at all times, remaining honest, transparent, and respectful in all relationships.

Job Complexity:

Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Builds productive internal/external working relationships.

Supervision Received and Exercised:

Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.



Minimum Qualifications

Experience and Education:

  • A. or B.S. in Business Administration, Finance, Math, or Related Fields preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working in related field
