Role Summary

The role involves helping set out a residential strategy across Europe and contributing to the efficient implementation of said strategy and ongoing monitoring. This means actively being part of research, market sounding, monitoring and acquisitions, management and eventually sales processes. These transactions could be complex in structure or have ambitious timelines. However, the expectation would be to ensure a high quality output, whether with modelling, memo writing and process management. The role includes providing support to the wider Transactions team in relation to new acquisitions (from sourcing to onboarding) and sales, assisting the team with high-quality data management, analyzing results, and submitting strategy papers.

This requires an affinity to quantitative analysis and modelling as well as preparing and developing presentations that support team initiatives and contribute to the decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dive into the world of residential real estate and contribute to creating a discerning strategy for the firm
  • Establish a tracking and monitoring system for transactions going forward
  • Be part of the wider investment & transactions team as the strategy is implemented : utilize and expand your financial modeling expertise to build and manage bespoke underwriting financial models, enabling in-depth analysis to produce best in class numbers for our clients and internal committees
  • Showcase your exceptional communication skills as you prepare memorandums and presentations for new transactions, presenting recommendations to the internal transactions teams and decision making bodies
  • Taking an active role in the support of due diligence processes for new investments or sales, and the preparation of internal due diligence documents
  • Gain valuable experience by assisting in negotiations related to investments and collaborating on the drafting of transaction documentation
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external partners, attending meetings, and build up your own professional real estate network
  • Contribute to regular reporting activities of investments and help to organize global investment forum and other internal conferences
  • Play a part in driving new business and product development across any new residential strategy
  • Support for any financing activity for current assets or new investments
  • Team player in a dynamic & international team working together across locations & countries

Key Requirements

  • 2-3 years of relevant real estate experience preferred, with demonstrable exposure to residential assets highly desirable
  • University degree with strong academic background, with additional training in real estate as a plus
  • Detail-oriented with strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Robust written and verbal communication skills, with working fluency in English
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and Argus Enterprise
  • High level of responsibility and accountability in their work, with a hands-on mentality and perseverance in completing projects
  • Team player
