Work Schedule/Work Hours: 5 days a week scheduled Mon-Sat

Full-Time employees supporting contracts for the Federal government that are covered by the Service Contract Act (SCA) earn fringe benefits according to their Wage Determination. JOB SUMMARY:

The Order Filler will be responsible for handling requests for merchandise, goods, or services and ensuring orders are filled. Packages product and sends it out to customer. Follow up to ensure the order arrived.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



  • Fill shipping or transfer orders of finished goods and services from processed or stored goods.
  • Enter completed pick ticket quantities into Linen Master for each customer.
  • Pick merchandise from warehouse shelves.
  • Conduct a final inspection of completed cart linen and ensure it will not fall out during transport.
  • Check inventory to ensure order can be fulfilled.
  • Notify staff if inventory is low.
  • Place shipping labels on carts.
  • Ensure customer information is correct on cart manifest and shipping paperwork.
  • Arrange and park carts in the correct route area for drivers to pick up.
  • Keep track of inventory and shipments as needed.
  • Work with the laundry team to arrange inventory and pull from shelves.
  • Requisition of additional materials, supplies, and equipment.
  • Work with production, sales, shipping, warehouse, to expedite or trace missing or delayed shipments.
  • Prepare order reports for management as requested.



QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:



  • A High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.



Experience:



  • Previous laundry experience is preferred.



Other:



  • Have a high attention to detail and ability to make decisions.
  • Able to withstand prolonged standing, bending and lifting up to 8 hours per day.
  • Able to occasionally work weekends, evenings, and holidays, with overtime as necessary.
  • Able to communicate effectively
