Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $21.25 - Midpoint: $26.59 (Hourly N6)

Department/Organization: 200722 - Center for Instructional Technology

Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:45pm

Job Summary: The Warehouse and Inventory Associate oversees the receiving, warehousing, distributing, and refurbishing of audiovisual equipment and supplies. Oversees the audits of tagged assets in the warehouse and installed across campus. Coordinates the surplus of decommissioned audiovisual equipment.

Additional Department Summary: Develops and implements policies and procedures for all matters associated with AVS property and inventory control, including but not limited to database administration, upgrades and enhancements, equipment checkout procedures, analyzing and monitoring stock for replenishment, shipping and receiving, documenting and tagging equipment meeting criteria, annual asset audits and audit reports, project reports and project status. Maintains accuracy of the records, optimization of the database to maximize efficiency of data entry and reporting, as well ensuring the integrity and ongoing performance of the database. Maintains the physical condition of the warehouse by planning and implementing safety guidelines, design layouts, inspecting equipment and issuing work orders for repair. Reinforces warehouse safety while coordinating staging and assembly of equipment for projects. Supervises student employees.

Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED and four (4) years of experience; OR associate's degree and two (2) years of experience; OR bachelor's degree and some experience.

Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.

Skills and Knowledge: Ability to develop and implement process improvements. Hands on experience with administration of warehouse management software and databases. Strong decision making and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively relate to and communicate with people across all levels of the organization. Able to work independently with limited supervision with strong initiative, follow through, and attention to detail. Proficient with computer hardware and applications related to warehouse management software and databases, as well as Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications: Five (5) years of work experience and expertise in warehouse and inventory management procedures and best practices. Some education in logistics, supply chain management, business administration or related field.
