Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Provide service solutions to a potentially high volume of phone calls related to service, repair, and product usage, ensuring exceptional customer service

* Coordinate calls to distributors and their contractors when they are in the field at customer sites

* Document and record all service calls in case management

* Identify warranty period and coverage issues while resolving customer issues per company warranty policies, escalate to management as needed

* Troubleshoot and diagnose manufacturer level technical service issues (electrical and mechanical) for distributor service personnel relating to product installation and service solutions

* Assist engineering in the creation and development of product improvement, service-related videos, and technical bulletins

* Perform service training assistance for distributor locations

* Service School participation and presentations as requested by managers

* Be the point of contact for distributors with new or ongoing issues

* Perform additional duties as requested

Qualifications

* Strong knowledge of electrical components and troubleshooting, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth knowledge a plus

* Strong mechanical background preferred

* Strong customer service skills with professional phone etiquette

* Excellent communication and listening skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers and team members

* Ability to multi-task

* Ability to use ERP systems, including data entry and case management tools

* Ability to read and understand electrical schematics

Technician Education and/or Experience

* Associate degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology, or a related field

* Education, training, or experience in the electrical field required

* Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including website navigation

* One year of customer service and troubleshooting
