Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Analyze complex and diversified credit, assets, income and property documentation to confirm compliance with guidelines.

2. Approve/Deny loans based on HMDA including conventional and portfolio mortgage products.

3. Analyzes and calculates SEB for Schedule C. 1065, 1120, 1120S

4. Strong working knowledge of FNMA, FHA, and VA loans. FHA/ VA underwriting designations required.

Job Description

Evaluate all aspects of loan application for portfolio, conventional, and FHA/VA, as well as non-conforming and self employed loans to determine approval or denial based on risk, investor guidelines, government regulations and other applicable risk specific to the loan program.

Job Profile Summary

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3-5 yrs. Mortgage Processing experience along with 2-3 years experience evaluating/ underwriting conventional mortgage loans required.

  • Knowledge of the underwriting process and applicable criteria, guidelines, and regulations.
