Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring a Social Media Manager to be a key part of our Marketing team in New York.

We're looking for a creative, trend-savvy Social Media Manager to lead the charge in growing Ingram Publisher Services' online presence-especially in the book-loving corners of TikTok, Instagram, and beyond. You'll be the voice and vibe of our brand, crafting compelling social media content, collaborating with influencers, and helping independent publishers shine on social. Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or year for year directly related experience
  • 5 years of experience and expertise in organizing and developing social media content and executing social media campaigns

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of social media tools (Canva and CapCut, among others), trends, and analytics
  • Knowledge of social media management platforms
  • Knowledge of advertising on TikTok and Meta to boost content (including Spark Ads in partnership with content creators)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce and edit dynamic photos and video content for social media featuring select books, publishers, events and company culture.
  • Ensure all efforts and messaging are consistent with the values, overall story and voice for the target audience of each account.
  • Develop and manage a shared content calendar for social media accounts on TikTok, Facebook, Instagram (including Stories), LinkedIn, and future social platforms.
  • Serve as the internal and external subject matter expert on social media, advising internal stakeholders and clients on trends, tools, and tactics.
  • Assign and provide coaching on best practices and track the progress of content creation as it is assigned to participating colleagues.
  • Establish and continually refine the growth plan of a NEW brand for Ingram Publisher Services to increase its social media following and content engagement, with a strong focus on TikTok.
  • Works jointly with others to ideate, develop and execute social media campaigns for individual titles, adapting strategies based on performance data and channel goals.
  • Leverage measurement tools to independently curate progress reports and mine insights, while continually finding ways to improve those metrics through testing and new initiatives.
  • Maintain and grow IPS Influencer and Creator Program database and outreach.
  • Monitor engagement on accounts, and responds, or escalates internally, while building relationships with consumers online.
  • Continually research new social media platforms, apps and trends.

Hiring Salary Range:$87,475k -$110,601k This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. It will be determined by factors including but not limited to:the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geographic location, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
