Job Summary: Provides daily supervision of Emergency Dispatch team to ensure adherence to company and regulatory policies. Monitors individual as well as team performance in providing effective support to field supervisors and employees.







Essential Functions:



  • Provides daily supervision to dispatchers ensuring offsite support to field employees, local supervision and external customers.





  • Observe, coach, develop employees and improve individual and team performance by creating an environment that allows individuals and teams to contribute to their maximum potential.





  • Conduct timely and effective performance discussions.





  • Develop and communicate all process changes to dispatchers and ensure required documents are kept current and accessible.





  • Organize and maintain dispatch schedule for regular, overtime and holiday work.





  • Directly supervise employees and keep management apprised of any personnel issues.





  • Promote positive customer and employee relations.





  • Initiate regular contact with internal customers to understand needs, expectations and build positive relations.





  • Comply with Company and industry standards and regulations.





  • Monitor field employee productivity and keep local supervision informed of potential issues.





  • Ensures training requirements, compliance and needs are current and satisfied.





  • Performs other duties as assigned.







Basic Qualifications:



Education:





  • 4 year degree prefered but not required.





Experience:



  • Requires a minimum of three (3) years of experience in natural gas operations or customer services
