Introduction

The Commissioner of the Revenue is one of Loudoun's five elected constitutional officers. Our mission is to serve citizens and the business community by administering tax programs mandated by the Code of Virginia and local ordinance in a manner that is efficient, fair, equitable, and thorough, while protecting the confidential personal and business information entrusted to the office.


Job Summary

The Office of the Loudoun County Commissioner of the Revenue is seeking an experienced administrative professional to serve on our Operations Team as an Administrative Manager. The Administrative Manager will be responsible for day-to-day administrative functions of the office to perform support functions to include, but not limited to, financial management, human resources, and other activities to provide our internal and external customers with prompt and accurate service.

Candidates should be seasoned professionals with knowledge of administrative and budget management practices, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, and development of office policies and procedures. Ability to maintain confidentiality, prioritize deadlines, and work independently.

Hiring salary commensurate with experience.


Minimum Qualifications

Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to associate's degree and three (3) years of related administrative work experience in a business or government setting including one (1) year of supervisory experience.


Job Contingencies and Special Requirements

The successful candidate will undergo criminal background, credit, and DMV record checks. Must maintain a valid driver's license in Virginia or regional state of residence.
