Job Summary

This position assists the Supply Planning & Procurement and Transportation department to develop cross-functional knowledge of all purchasing procedures and processes, develop strategic business relationships with vendors, strategic supply chain methods to decrease inventory levels, while monitoring and reporting supply chain KPIs company-wide, reaching the objective goals.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Supply Chain Operations Support

Order processing for assisting other Divisions as needed



  • Responsible to process customer drop orders, maintain records and documents of purchasing, including cost, deliveries and inventories
  • Negotiate EX-factory date with vendors and update information also for AB and pricing in SAP, working closely with Sourcing to verify Pricing as per MOQ and Container size.
  • Update any change of Pricing in POs based on sourcing notification.
  • Provide support to countries with suppliers to Maintain business constrains and services rate.


Procurement/sourcing support and monitoring



  • Work closely with sourcing requesting quotes from multiple vendors, completing the analysis to determine which supplier can meet SPB needs.
  • Provide shipping instructions to vendors, following up PO's with vendors and PEC Unit, requesting needed documents and shipping status, including drop shipments, and run Open Order Reports.
  • Follows up on transportation issues, working closely with PEC Unit, marketing and vendors to support new products delivery and ensure delivery dates.
  • Updates ETD and ETA information for all intercompany PO's.
  • GT Nexus maintenance.
  • Request excess availability to NA inventory manager if required.
  • Interaction with NA for US orders in SAP, supporting as needed providing inventory information, issuing the weekly report for inbound/outbound deliveries in the region and obtaining shipping documents from plant staff.

Education and Experience Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering / Business
  • 3-5 years of prior experience in Supply Chain & Operation


Required Skills

  • Fluent in English and Spanish, both oral and written
  • SAP required, advanced level preferred. MRP, APO, and GT Nexus is a plus.
  • Microsoft office advanced (advanced Excel, Power Point, Macro, and Visio, skills).
  • Experience working with Asia vendor.
  • Knowledge of how to run reports and ability to prepare PPT presentations for regional meetings.
  • Understanding of Latin Market is a plus.
  • Creative thinker who can quickly develop innovative ideas across a wide variety of business units.
  • Knowledge of Supply Planning, Purchasing, Inventory Control, and Materials Management processes, inventory management methodologies and supply chain optimization.
  • Quantitative and qualitative data analysis including business process metrics and measures linking to business KPIs.
  • Role includes extensive data mining and spreadsheet analysis - strong mathematical add analytical abilities.
  • Able to lead cross functional meetings to make recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Strong work ethic - advanced organization and time management skills with ability to multi-task.
  • Possesses superior analytical skills and communication skills; ability to make presentations to small groups.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with internal process partners.
  • Must be detail oriented and capable of producing high quality information on a sustainable basis.
  • Relationship building skills with the ability to create mutually beneficial relationships with both internal and external clients.
  • Team leader and strong ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects and requests simultaneously, within an intense competitive deadline environment.
