  • Description:
    Minnetonka Public Schools is accepting applications for Six Week ReserveTeacher for 2025-2026 School year. The Building Float Teacher is a highly flexible and adaptable educator who will provide instruction and support to students in various classrooms throughout the school building. The successful candidate will be able to teach a range of subjects and grade leevls, and will work collaboratively with teachers and staff to ensure continuity of instruction and student success.

    Responsibilities:
    • Teach a variety of subjects and grade levels.
    • Deliver instructions to students in accordance with established lesson plans and curriculum guidelines
    • Adapt instructio to meet diverse student needs
    • Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive elarning environment
    • Communicate efefctively with students and teachers
    Requirements:
    • Valid Minnesota Teaching License or Short Call License. If you do not hold a Minnesota Teacher License but have a Bachelor's degree you may apply for a Short Call Substitute teacher license through the Minnesota Professional Educators Licensing and Standards Board:

    • Preferred a bi-lingual person.
    • Strong classroom management and organizational skills
    • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Proficiency in using classroom technology to support instruction.
    Six Week Float - Reserve Teacher Rate:
    $277.54 per day
    Not medical or dental benefit eligible.

    Applicants who do not hold a teaching license:
    If you do not hold a Minnesota Teacher License but have a Bachelor's degree you may apply for a Short Call Substitute teacher license through the Minnesota Professional Educators Licensing and Standards Board: https://mn.gov/pelsb/.
