Join Aptar as Platform Manager for Spray Dispensing Systems, owning both our Fine-Mist (Personal Care) and Fragrance (Beauty) portfolios-and the chance to shape products used by millions every day. You'll translate market, consumer, and competitive insights into a clear regional strategy and optimized product-lifecycle roadmap, while leading cross-functional teams in R&D, sales, marketing, and operations. You'll drive end-to-end innovation, commercial activation, and P&L performance, working with top global brands to launch breakthrough spray solutions. What You'll Do:
Define and maintain the multi-year product roadmap for Fine Mist and Fragrance platforms, grounded in market data, competitive intelligence, and consumer insights:
- Manages platform profitability and rationalization
- Develops Platform strategies for assigned existing product lines, considering total product life cycle viewpoint. Develops & drives recommendations for capacity management, product rationalization, cost optimization and platform enhancements to drive growth and profitability. Leads the preparation and completion of business cases to support additional investments.
- Reviews and recommends list pricing using financial and market data for all products in assigned platform(s).
- Responsible for facilitating the ongoing cost improvement for Platform. With operations, engineering, supply chain and purchasing team members, facilitate the development and execution of a cost savings plan.
- Responsible for platform rationalization. With Sales and appropriate Technical and Customer Service support, execute approved plans to ensure commercial success and long-term profitability.
Drive end-to-end Stage-Gate process-from ideation and business case through design, validation, and launch:
- Identifies and Manages innovation projects and Informs Global Innovation pipeline decisions
- Leads and develops the business case, including managing the development plan for new projects. Using the Stage Gate process, drives and directs the design through to product approval and market acceptance with Center of Expertise or Regional Technical Team. Provide value positioning to Sales.
- Manages platform activation and commercial development.
- Develop value propositions, launch playbooks, and training tools for sales, marketing, and customer service.
Lead product launch teams (Sales, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance) and monitor platform P&L performance: Sales, Pricing, Competitive Advantage, Market Shares (accountable for AMIT accuracy, Share of Launches):
- Work with creative support personnel to develop strategic promotional plans and training tools as needed for product lines and enhancements including input to the website.
- Own Launch prep content creation including coordination with Regional and Global Marketing Communications
- Together with the Sales team, defines best customer opportunities (C4C proactive management) and tracks implementation of sales attack plans
- Provides final approval on pricing proposals, with necessary inputs/approvals as defined by Pricing Policy. Provides market insights to support pricing. Leverage quote opportunities with creative solutions to win profitable new business.
Own ongoing voice-of-customer research, including interviews, focus groups, and usage studies.
- Support Customer meetings to deliver value proposition and insights regarding Platform technologies. Create value propositions, communicate, and build understanding.
- Conduct ongoing analysis of competitors' products and services to identify strategic opportunities.
What you will bring on the journey
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Marketing or Engineering required.
- MBA preferred.
Experience
- Minimum of 5-10 years in product management/marketing or equivalent experience in packaging or beauty industries.
- Direct exposure to spray or dispensing systems preferred.
- Track record of driving new product launches from concept through commercialization.
- Complex project management experience preferred
- Solid understanding of product-management principles: lifecycle management, roadmapping, business case development, Agile/Stage-Gate methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills: financial modeling, ROI analysis, pricing optimization.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills; able to align regional and global stakeholders.

Skills/Abilities
Technical understanding of molding, and multiple component assembly processes and or knowledge of the Spray products market is a plus.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $137,000 - 185,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
