Job Description

The Center for Behavioral Health, located at 12837 Flushing Meadows Dr. Ste 220, Town & Country MO 63131, seeks an enthusiastic, client-focused Senior Intake Specialist to serve as one of the initial points of contact our clients have with our Center. Our Intake Specialists ensure our clients are scheduled with clinicians who can aptly address the caregiver's concerns.
Requires computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, the ability to implement pre-determined processes accurately and consistently with strong attention to detail, and the ability to establish and maintain effective professional relations with clients, co-workers, and other agencies. The successful applicant should be flexible, organized, and comfortable working with the public.

Duties and responsibilities include:

* Ensure administrative support staff coverage for clinic, including responding to inquiries, triaging client needs, and ensuring smooth daily operations.
* Complete onboarding training for new staff members, ensuring they are familiar with systems, protocols, and clinical workflows.
* Assign and oversee daily task lists for clinical support staff, ensuring equitable distribution and timely completion of duties.
* Serve as a point of contact for troubleshooting intake-related issues and escalating concerns to supervisors when necessary.
* Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support continuity of care and efficient service delivery.
* Monitor compliance with documentation and data standards as outlined by organizational policy and regulatory requirements.
* Perform telephone and walk-in intakes with prospective clients, attend staff meetings, prepare correspondence, provide office support to clinical staff and other assigned projects on behalf of CBH.
* Schedule appointments for clinicians at multiple potential locations, including the agency's two office locations, and school or other community sites as needed.
*Provide general/routine administrative and office support that includes a broad range of duties. Provide support to the Center's Receptionist to ensure staff is available to clients and other visitors in the waiting room.
* Answer phone, greets clients and other visitors, routes calls and responds to inquiries with appropriate discretion.
* Monitor the office's general email account; Create, maintain, organize, and retrieve electronic and manual departmental and client files.
* Focus on completing work effectively, efficiently, and in a timely fashion.
* Understand how the assigned and/or routine tasks integrate with others in the team.
* Other administrative and reporting duties as assigned.

Shift

40 hours per week

Minimum Qualifications

Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience at least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Psychology or a related field is preferred. Additional work experience in community mental health setting is preferred.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $18.87 - $26.87
Grade: GGS-008
