Job Duties: Perform requirements gathering, design and development, and documentation applying in-depth understanding of operating systems and computer architecture. Support QA and L3. Leverage advanced database management principles to research, design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for Anaplan's general computing applications. Set operational specifications and formulate and analyze software requirements and modify existing software to correct errors to adapt to new hardware or to upgrade interfaces and improve performance. Develop software tools that empower the development of teams to work as effectively as possible, as well as build and delivery distributed systems that automate everything needed to scale Anaplan's platform globally and deploy qualify code across a Hybrid Multi-cloud environment. Work on the documentation of the new feature development, creatively solve a wide range of complex issues, and work effectively with stakeholders to complete tasks in time. Drive the setup and improvements for Anaplan's CI/CD pipelines, including managing jobs and dependencies, and work on a complex build system that must communicate with AWS/GCP in a Kubernetes environment that is highly scalable. Remote work is permissible. Minimum Requirements: Must have a Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Security Engineering, or a related field. Special Requirements: Skills/coursework/project experience must include: Utilizing Object Oriented Programming to improve code readability, reusability, and feature development; Developing REST application and microservice to add a new feature and develop new service; Utilizing data structures and algorithm to improve performance, fix bugs, and conduct feature development; As a scrum master, working in an agile environment and following agile principles in day-to-day work; Performing test automation such as Unit testing (Junit) to write unit test for feature development/bug fixes; and Utilizing RDBMS skills to perform CRUD operations via backend services.
