Senior Technician Your tasks
Position Summary: This is a position that entails leading the NVH performance efforts related to customer concerns. The S&R Senior Technician directly liases with Ford launch team engineers and suppliers to resolve issues prior to vehicle launch. Responsibilities: Utilize Ford tracking systems (AIMS; WORS) to report and track S&R failures Problem solving of all S&R failures with containment and resolution implementation Planning and tracking of vehicle tests to monitor S&R performance degradation Submission of reports and statistics for management reviews Assists in the scheduling of the systems Able to perform and oversee all repairs and maintenance Your qualifications
Education and Experience: Associate degree, Bachelor's degree preferred, or 5 years equivalent experience General technical competence (mechanical or electronic aptitude) Thorough understanding of standard automotive terminology Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Requires knowledge of vibration test systems and closed loop control systems Bilingual desired; English and (Spanish, French, German, Portuguese) Willing and able to travel as required Able to work shifts and overtime as needed Thorough knowledge of standard automotive terminology Willing and able to take active role in maintaining a clean and safe environment Willing to perform mechanical work on test system and vehicles Understands quality operating systems Has enhanced verbal and written communication skills Exhibited sound judgment and decision making abilities Willing and able to work in a team environment as well as individually Maintains logic and clarity in stressful situations Good troubleshooting and root cause investigation skills are paramount Additional Information
