Primary Function

The Information System Analyst III will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining software and hardware components, managing network servers and technology tools, monitoring system performance, troubleshooting personnel and customer issues, assisting in the design and implementation of new applications and systems, provide technical support, and analyzing system and user needs to recommend appropriate solutions.

Essential Duties

  • Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware components
  • Manage network servers and technology tools
  • Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
  • Develop and implement IT policies and procedures as required
  • Conduct data backups and disaster recovery operations a required
  • Assist in the design and implementation of new applications and systems
  • Provide technical support to staff and train users on new systems
  • Maintain and update documentation of system configurations and procedures
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for system upgrades and repairs
  • Analyze system and user needs to recommend appropriate solutions
  • Implement and monitor network security measures

  • Must possess a understanding of IT infrastructure and networking concepts
  • Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must have strong understanding of the IT requirements of a test range environment.
  • Previous experience working at DoD T&E Range contract

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Proven experience as an information System Analyst or similar role
  • Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and networking concepts
  • Experience with database management and data analysis
  • 2+ years of experience in IT support or systems administration (preferred)

Working Environment

This is an on-site, fast-paced multi-tasking customer service-oriented environment requiring a high degree of efficient and effective performance. Adaptability regarding schedule and task changes is necessary to accommodate changing priorities.This position is normally 5 days a week M-F. However, weekends and after hour support may be required.
