Job Summary

The IT Technology Adoption and Training Specialist is primarily responsible for the design and delivery of digital training programs to enhance staff proficiency with software tools, aligning with organizational goals. Develop e-learning solutions, ensure quality assurance in IT services, and apply analytical methods to validate and improve technology adoption across the enterprise.


Essential Functions

  • Actively supports the Company's commitment to safety and its "Core Values".
  • Represents the Company at all times with high moral standards while adhering to the Company's "Code of Business Conduct and Ethics".
  • Designs, develops, and delivers both distance and in-person web-based training programs, including course materials, exercises, and skills evaluations.
  • Coordinates and maintains the company's e-learning platform, ensuring timely updates to course content and training schedules.
  • Collaborates with IT to create interactive multimedia training applications and learning programs.
  • Develops and implements feedback mechanisms to evaluate effectiveness and improve learning outcomes.
  • Communicates application related problems and issues to IT for resolution and improvement.
  • Develops and coordinates an overall applications training curriculum for end users at all levels.
  • Reviews and updates training materials and documentation to ensure accuracy and keep them up to date.
  • Creates and communicates training schedules in consultation with department leaders.
  • Establishes and maintains quality assurance measures for training content, delivery, methods, and user experience.
  • Participates in user acceptance testing (UAT) and provides feedback to improve application functionality and training alignment.
  • Stays informed of changes and upcoming developments in the IT application portfolio to proactively update training content.
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned.


    Qualifications

    • 5+ years' of related IT training trainer experience.
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Instructional Design, Educational Technology or related field, or equivalent job-related experience.
    • Ability to effectively work with people in other departments and/or outside of the company.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.
    • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Solid understanding of enterprise and desktop applications.
    • Hands-on knowledge of intranet design tools and multimedia applications.
    • Ability to establish effective working relationships with all levels of staff and vendors.
    • Self-motivated, with a strong ability to work both independently and with teams and managers as appropriate.
    • A demonstrated focus on customer service excellence.


    Physical/Special Requirements

    • This position will require occasional travel and overtime/weekend work.
