Core Responsibilities:



  • Assist in the month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of the WIP schedule, proposing journal entries and reconciling various balance sheet accounts
  • Prepare monthly G&A report, analyze variances compared to plan and report out to Controller
  • Perform employee labor rate calculations for review and update ERP with approved labor rates to be charged across projects
  • Monitor cash receipts and payments and prepare a weekly cash forecast based on data and analysis from project teams
  • Prepare and distribute various weekly and monthly reports to senior leadership team
  • Review payment authorization requests from project accountants for compliance and submit for payment authorization
  • Manage intercompany invoices for month-end procedures
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for insurance programs
  • Assist in year-end audit procedures working with Controller and project teams to fulfill requests
  • Assist project teams in job specific audits as needed
  • Ad Hoc requests from CFO and Controller, as needed.



Qualifications:



  • Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • 3-4 years of experience in accounting or finance role
  • Demonstrates excellence in understanding of GAAP, accounting, internal controls, compliance, and reporting
  • Ability to work on assigned tasks independently with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Public accounting experience strongly preferred
  • Experience in construction accounting preferred
