Senior Program Manager Majesco is a remote-first workplace; however, this position requires the successful candidate to be within commuting distance of our Morristown, New Jersey headquarters. Job Overview
- The candidate must be an experienced, client-facing Program leader who has successfully and simultaneously managed multiple complex software projects and programs.
- The individual will have a strong understanding of the Property & Casualty Insurance domain across various Lines of Business, and will play a highly visible, client facing and consultative role.
- As the business liaison between the client and technical team, this role provides support throughout the project development life cycle.
- Experience managing large, complex software engagements in the Property & Casualty and/or Life, Annuity and Health Insurance domain space across various Lines of Business is a must (Personal and/or Commercial Lines).
- This candidate must based in Northwestern part of Pennsylvania or Northeastern part of Ohio, and must be willing to travel to 2-3 different client locations each month for multiple days within this geographic area.
Key Role and Responsibilities
- Responsible for a portfolio of delivery programs and projects
- Responsible for project financials/deviations using NetSuite, profitability, project resources, timelines and quality of all deliverables and project outcomes.
- Provides clear and consistent messages which are delivered to the project team and clients.
- Work closely with technical teams and act as a liaison between the technical teams and the client
- Coordinates program team resources and make assignments based on skill, capacity, and priority
- Provides timely and accurate status updates (both internally and to the Client).
- Responsible for adherence to Majesco delivery implementation Playbook process requirements; outlines plan and monitors status, as required.
- Provides oversight, ongoing coaching and feedback to the program/project resources, timelines and quality of all deliverables and program/project outcomes
- Resolves issues and risks as needed and displays clear and transparent communication with Majesco executives or Clients
- Responsible for driving consistency and repeatable program/project delivery processes and procedures
- Drives project estimates and creates Statements of Work (SOW's)
- Provides thought leadership and strategic direction
- Manages status to Executive Sponsor / Steering Committee; leads Client Steering Committee meetings
All About You
- Minimum 17+ years of experience with 8+ years in Project Management and 8+ years in Property & Casualty Insurance experience across various Lines of Business (Commercial and or Personal Lines).
- Extensive experience delivering package or Software-As-A-Service (SAAS) solutions in an Agile environment is a MUST.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Ability to create and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource maps.
- Ability to apply project control activities such as change, risk and issue management to ensure an on time/on budget delivery.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, appropriate to the audience.
- Ability to take the initiative and solve problems as they arise.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to produce quality work within an aggressive schedule.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Experience with NetSuite, Jira and experience managing 3rd party vendors and contractors is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree or global equivalent required; CPCU, PMP and/or Scrum Master certification is a plus.
What Majesco Offers: Majesco is committed to equal pay and transparency. The annual base salary range for this position is $140,000 to $160,000.
