ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - EO/IR Systems Engineering Intern

Through the application of fundamental engineering and physical principles, the Electro-optical/Infrared Systems Engineering Intern will support the design, analysis, and development of Santa Barbara Infrared's current and future electro-optical/infrared products. Working under technical direction, and with colleagues in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Assembly, Integration & Test, the Intern will support production programs and current and future development efforts.

REQUIREMENTS- EO/IR Systems Engineering Intern

The successful candidate must be currently attending a school of higher education with the goal of obtaining a Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering from a college or university or must possess equivalent work experience.

Due to US Export Control Regulations compliance, eligible candidates MUST be a US citizen, permanent resident or a person who has been granted asylum; proper documentation is required.

Pre-employment verifications: must pass background, reference and ITAR/EAR checks in addition to a pre-employment drug screen.
