Continuation past the termlengthdiscussed willbebasedonuniversityneed,performance,and/oravailabilityoffunding.POSITION SPECIFICS Post-Doctoral Position - High-Performance Low-Carbon Concrete - Rajabipour's Lab Dr. Farshad Rajabipour's research group in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) at Penn State invites applications for a post-doctoral scholar position focused on the development of high-performance, low-carbon cements and concretes for infrastructure applications. The group leads cutting-edge research in areas of concrete decarbonization, utilization of marginal and nonconventional pozzolans, prediction and mitigation of alkali-silica reaction, and development of sensors for assessing concrete quality and durability. This position offers exceptional opportunities for leadership and collaboration across these research domains, including partnerships with academic and industrial R&D teams both in the U.S. and internationally. Dr. Rajabipour seeks a highly motivated and knowledgeable candidate eager to expand their expertise while contributing to the management and execution of research projects and mentoring of graduate students.
