City/State: Bronx, New YorkGrant Funded: YesDepartment: Psych - AOPD/COPD/CL/PACAP/POSWork Shift: DayWork Days: MON-FRIScheduled Hours: 8:30 AM-5 PMScheduled Daily Hours: 7.5 HOURSPay Range: $120,000.00-$150,000.00 The Administrative Director for the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences for Westchester Square will be responsible for clinical, operational, and regulatory oversight of all psychiatry services including Partial Hospitalization Program, High Risk Bridge Clinic, Eating Disorders Partial Hospitalization Program, Outpatient Adult Eating Disorders Program, Women's Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Program including a nursery that collectively staffs approx. 43 associates that include social workers, psychologists, counselors, creative arts therapists, psychiatrists, psychology interns, social work interns, administrative supervisors, clinical supervisors, program managers, and clerical staff members. These sites function as patient care facilities that provide approximately 30,363 visits annually. Director is responsible for hiring, firing and progressive discipline of all 1199 members in Westchester Square Psychiatry Programs. Responsible for oversight of Epic work queues, oversight of denials, monitoring productivity and all billing issues . Responsible for preparedness for Joint Commission, Office of Mental Health, Department of Health, and insurance audits ensuring ongoing compliance and accreditation. The director will serve a critical role in operational planning and business development of the new programs prior to the opening of the site.This is a grant funded position. Requirements Master's Degree required Five years experience in a similar role required Strong analytical and communication skills Knowledge of state regulations regarding outpatient and inpatient mental health settings Knowledge of clinic and hospital functions that include compliance with documentation and billing regulations Must possess excellent leadership and time-management skills.
