This leader will oversee more than 2,000 faculty, staff, and trainees across 12 clinical and 2 academic divisions, managing an annual budget exceeding $200 million. Role Overview: Reporting to the Chair of Medicine and partnering with senior leadership, this role drives excellence across clinical care, research, and education. The Administrator will align departmental operations with institutional goals, optimize performance, and scale initiatives across all Montefiore Einstein campuses. Key responsibilities include: Leading integration and growth across inpatient and ambulatory settings Driving program expansion, innovation, and operational efficiency Embedding research within clinical operations to foster translational science Championing adoption of emerging technologies and AI Building industry and innovation partnerships Advancing quality, access, financial strength, and workforce development Qualifications & Key Competencies: Master's degree required Ten (10) years' experience required Clinical Operations: Expertise in hospital and ambulatory practice management Program Development: Proven ability to scale clinical programs across multiple sites Financial Acumen: Strong background in healthcare budgeting, forecasting, and revenue optimization Operational Leadership: Skilled at aligning teams, strategy, and systems for impact Analytical Rigor: Data-driven decision-making and performance analysis Change Management: Experience driving transformation and continuous improvement Collaboration & EQ: Effective communicator with high emotional intelligence Digital Fluency: Proficient in EMRs, analytics tools, and healthcare tech innovation Regulatory & Quality Oversight: Deep knowledge of compliance and quality standards Execution & Accountability: Results-driven, with strong follow-through and ownership Montefiore Medical Center is an equal employment opportunity employer.
