We are seeking an Air and Missile Defense(AMD) Senior Analyst to support the IFMC AMD Product Office. This position supports the Integrated Fires Mission Command Air and Missile Defense (IFMC AMD) Mission Command Product Office, a government program office addressing Army Air and Missile Defense systems, with a focus on Mission Command systems. The candidate in this role will work with both contractors, government civilians, and system operators. Tasks include developing system-level concepts that provide solutions to problems that often involve multiple systems from multiple product offices. These concepts define external interfaces, outline system behavior, performance, and acceptance criteria necessary to support HW and SW engineering teams. #MC



Responsibilities

The candidate in this role will be responsible for leading reviews and adjudicating comments made against the concepts. The candidate should manage the data collection of system product performance (Technical Performance Measures) from government and contractor facilities. He or she will report TPM measurements to IFMC Decision makers, Leaders, and program personnel, as well as report IFMC performance capability to the Warfighter. The candidate must engage various levels of stakeholders to ensure proposed solutions can meet the needs of the intended users, and be highly organized with a strong technical background in system engineering principles.



Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

    The candidate must be a US Citizen and a resident of the Huntsville, AL area or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville, AL area
  • The ability to work onsite, up to full time, depending on client needs
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or related field is required
  • Candidate should have 7 or more years of system engineering experience
  • The candidate must have experience in one or more of the following areas: tactical command and control systems, tactical weapons systems, tactical sensor systems, software, hardware, requirement decomposition, or MBSE tools and languages
  • DoD Secret security clearance, and the ability to maintain it throughout employment

Desired Qualifications:

  • System engineering experience in support of DoD programs is highly desired, especially in an Army Air and Missile Defense program
  • Experience using Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence and SAFe Agile experience are a plus
