Stellantis Mopar Service, Parts & Customer Care Organization is currently seeking a highly skilled, Warranty Chargeback Process Specialist focused on post-payment claim review to join the Technical Service Organization team at Mopar Headquarters, in Auburn Hills, Michigan.

Job Description:

The Warranty Chargeback Process Specialist is responsible for evaluating claims for potential recovery, as identified by both internal Mopar teams and external partners. This role requires the use of the Global Claim System (GCS) and Global Issue Management (GIM) systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

A key aspect of this role is the ability to coordinate effectively across multiple departments-including Quality, Warranty Administration, Field Operations, and Dealerships-to ensure accurate claim assessments and consistent recovery practices. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative problem-solver who can navigate complex technical and operational environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Review claims for adherence to policy, including:

- Accurate diagnostics

- Appropriate and non-excessive repairs

- Correct parts usage

Analyze post-repair data to identify recovery opportunities.

Collaborate with post-repair leads, dealers, and Field Operations personnel to gather additional context.

Coordinate closely with Quality, Warranty Administration, and Field Operations teams to ensure alignment on recovery decisions.

Determine the validity of recovery and document findings.

Provide clear, professional narratives to explain recovery decisions to dealerships.

Maintain effective communication with all involved parties and foster strong working relationships.

Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of experience with dealership and/or field claims systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations to various audiences
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact across management levels
  • Capable of multitasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with dealership personnel and field operations teams


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience with data analytics platforms (e.g., GCS, Palantir)
  • Engineering-level systems knowledge
  • 5+ years of experience with dealership and/or field claims systems
  • Established relationships within engineering and quality organizations
