Job Overview: Our client is seeking a skilled Audit Manager to join their finance team. This role must have proven experience leading risk-based audits and strategic projects across diverse industries at both the corporate and business-unit level. Skilled in developing and executing comprehensive audit plans, managing full project lifecycles, and delivering high-impact value-add engagements such as M&A due diligence, finance integration/separation, and operational reviews. Known for strong leadership and team development capabilities, fostering high-performing, collaborative environments. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage audits across multiple industries ensuring timely and thorough execution from planning through reporting. Develop and implement risk-based audit approaches for operational and strategic projects, including the review of audit programs and overall project lifecycle accountability. Support value-add initiatives such as M&A due diligence, finance integration/separation, process improvement, interim finance leadership, and other special projects. Coach and manage team members to promote professional growth, enhance team engagement, and expand execution capacity across audit and advisory engagements. Collaborate with cross-functional leaders (e.g., Legal, Tax, Accounting, FP&A, IR, Business Unit CFOs) to ensure alignment and communication on audit findings and project outcomes. Operate effectively in a lean, high-performance corporate environment, demonstrating agility, strong analytical skills, service orientation, and sound decision-making. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field?required. Active CPA certification required. Experience with ASC606 and SOX preferred. Minimum of 5-8 years of accounting experience- public preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; experience with NetSuite, Great Plains, Oracle or SAP is required. Experience at a large accounting firm should include involvement in audit, advisory, or related professional services.
