Alight is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Total Rewardsto lead the global strategy for compensation, benefits, and rewards. This high-impact executive role is critical to attracting, retaining, and motivating top talent across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise inexecutive and sales compensation,public company governance,job architecture and M&A integration, with a proven ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Compensation team to design, establish and maintain Exec comp and sales comp plans per the needs of various business
  • Works collaboratively with the HR Leadership team, the CEO and Executive team, senior leaders, Finance, Legal, and external partners to design appropriate compensation and benefits programs globally including broad based and executive compensation programs.
  • Prepares reports for and presents to the company's Board of Directors.
  • Lead the Total Rewards function to effectively evaluate, design, propose, implement, and communicate compensation and benefits strategy, programs, policies and initiatives that competitively position Alight in the attraction and retention of talent globally and are aligned with strategy, priorities and our core values.
  • Creates and drives strategy that supports a diverse workforce of top talent to help Alight achieve its growth strategies.
  • Lead the development and implementation of health and retirement programs ensuring competitive, sustainable, cost-effective plans and programs for all colleagues worldwide.
  • Design and implement compensation plans to include competitive short- and long-term incentive plans.
  • Actively involved in merger and acquisition activities including due diligence, evaluation and integration of pay and benefit programs.
  • Actively promote an understanding and appreciation of the value of Alight's Total Rewards program, including the creation and deployment of an ongoing communication strategy, programs to educate leaders and managers.

  • Provide expertise and consultation to adapt compensation and benefits design/approach to align with market trends and business strategies.
  • Lead annual compensation planning process to ensure successful delivery, competitiveness and alignment with the compensation philosophy
  • Ensure compensation and benefits plans globally comply with legal and other regulations and manage processes and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and internal controls.
  • Establish and manage compensation and benefit's related budget and provide audit support as necessary.
  • Proactively manage relevant vendors, auditors, and consultants and negotiate contracts for compensation and benefits products and services
  • Ensure ongoing analysis and evaluation of services, coverage, and options available through insurance and investment companies to ensure programs best meet the needs of the organization.
  • Lead compensation and benefits team to promote a positive, high-performing, fun, innovative and growth-oriented environment that consistently delivers results.
  • Manages the Total Rewards team by defining accountabilities, establishing performance objectives, and providing regular ongoing feedback and guidance, stays current on market trends in compensation and benefits through publications, webinars, seminars, and networking with providers, consultants and peers in order to keep the Total Rewards programs relevant.
  • Responsible for global compensation tools and systems. Includes managing relationships with HRIS and internal/external resources.
  • Manage salary survey participation, annual market pricing activities and development of salary structures. The team provides market data to BU Compensation Leaders as needed.
  • Oversee leadership of various benchmarking activities and provide direction for salary increase budgets.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience desirable
  • Professional certifications (SPHR, CCP, CEBS, etc.) preferred
  • Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills are key to success, including listening, negotiation, persuasion and facilitation skills with all levels of leadership and employees.
  • Aptitude to both lead at a strategic level and be a hands-on leader working alongside the team to create programs and solve issues
  • 12+ years of broad-based compensation (Global preferred) and benefits experience with increasing levels of responsibility
  • Significant experience with Executive Compensation Planning
  • Executive presence and experience collaborating with, and presenting to, the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and Board of Directors
  • US public company experience
  • Experience establishing a compensation committee

Salary Pay Range

Minimum :

265,000.00 USD

Maximum :

330,000.00 USD
