Amplify's Supply Chain Department is seeking a Change Management Specialist to support the execution of effective change management and communication plans, as well as deliver cross-functional information sharing that will successfully prepare teams for change. This role will proactively drive change initiatives with a people-first approach and report to the Director of Change Management and Communications.

We are looking for a proactive self-starter who is skilled in communicating complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand content for technical and non-technical audiences. The successful candidate can anticipate challenges, identify stakeholder needs, and develop strategic interventions before issues arise. This position requires someone who works closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high quality project outcomes that are delivered on time to support strategic business goals.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in conducting thorough needs assessments, creating compelling training programs and communications grounded in adult learning theory, and skillfully facilitating training sessions, workshops, and cross-functional meetings. This position demands someone who takes initiative to drive change forward and excels at engaging stakeholders through effective facilitation and communication.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Change Strategy & Planning

    • Anticipate potential adoption challenges and resistance points before they manifest

    • Develop early intervention strategies to address concerns before they impact implementation

    • Analyze organizational goals and key performance indicators to inform change strategy and priorities

    • Conduct thorough readiness assessments to gauge organizational preparedness

    • Create risk mitigation plans that address the people side of change

    • Align change initiatives with strategic business goals and performance targets

  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

    • Identify key influencers and change champions across the organization

    • Create targeted communication strategies based on stakeholder analysis

    • Craft compelling messaging that addresses "what's in it for me" for each audience

    • Develop multi-channel communication plans with clear objectives

    • Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and cross-functional meetings to drive change adoption

    • Lead stakeholder meetings and collaborative sessions to build alignment and address concerns

  • Training & Development

    • Assess skill gaps between current capabilities and future requirements

    • Design comprehensive learning journeys tailored to different audience segments

    • Develop engaging training materials using adult learning principles

    • Create experiential learning opportunities that promote knowledge retention

    • Incorporate various learning modalities to accommodate different learning needs

  • Monitoring & Reporting

    • Monitor and report on the progress of change initiatives

    • Measure training effectiveness and adjust approaches based on feedback

    • Create feedback mechanisms to ensure message effectiveness

    • Develop communication toolkits for managers and leaders

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Instructional Design, Communications, Psychology, Education, or related field

  • Demonstrated experience in proactive change management approaches

  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and their practical application

  • Excellent analytical skills for assessing training needs and stakeholder impacts

  • Superior written and verbal communication abilities

  • Experience developing effective training materials for diverse audiences

  • Ability to translate complex concepts into accessible language

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build trust quickly

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to achieve valuable results

  • Demonstrated proficiency in technology-based productivity tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two to five years of experience in change management, training development, or communications

  • Experience with change management methodologies (ADKAR, Kotter, etc.)

  • Background in instructional design or training development

  • Experience using data to inform change management strategies

  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills

  • Experience in the education technology field

  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies

  • Experience managing multiple high-stakes projects in fast-paced environments

  • Demonstrated flexibility and creativity in building new initiatives

  • Experience collaborating with and influencing senior leadership

What we offer:

Salary is only one component of the Amplify Total Rewards package, which includes a 401(k) plan, competitive health insurance and mental health options, basic life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and access to best-in-class development programs. The gross salary range for this role is $75,000 - $85,000. This role is eligible to earn an annual discretionary bonus that rewards individual and company performance.
