THOR Solutions is seeking a Cyber/Information Technology Analyst, to support the Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Navigation, and Electrical (C4N&E) activities & Hull, Mechanical, & Electrical (HM&E) engineering team at Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) in Panama City, FL.

Typical Responsibilities:The candidate's responsibilities may include (but are not limited to) performing or supporting the following actions:
  • Support the creation and annual updates to the following documents
    • Information Systems Contingency Plan (ISCP)
    • Incident Response Plan (IRP)
    • Patch Management Plan
    • End-of-Life Plan
  • Support ATO and ATU/C stipulation data calls
  • Support Annual system Department of Defense Information Technology Portfolio Repository-Department of the Navy (DITPR-DON) reviews
    • Update Hardware/ Software List
    • Support annual IRP/ISCP Testing
  • Support system Ports, Protocols, and Services Management (PPSM) registration
  • Support the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) within the Air Cushion Vehicle (ACV) IT portfolio
  • Support the secure configuration of ACV IT in accordance with Department of Defense Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG)
  • Perform requirements traceability to ensure all requirements have a source and are justified as complete
  • Ensure traceability of the requirements through all levels of design, development, integration, test, and production; and
  • Assess the System Requirements Verification Traceability Matrix (SRVTM) for a task.
Location: Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) in Panama City, FL (Government Site).

Travel:Up to 10% travel is anticipated to include overseas.

US Citizenship Required:Due to the requirements of the federal contract that this position supports, U.S. citizenship is required. Citizenship will be confirmed via I-9/E-Verify at the start of employment.

Existing Secret Security Clearance Required: This position requires a DoD Secret security clearance. Only candidates with an existing Secret security clearance will be considered.

Typical Physical Activity:Primarily desk/computer work in an office environment. May involve: repetitive motion. Periodic visits to waterfront/shipboard environments. May involve: traversing shipboard environments (e.g., confined spaces, ladders, hatches) or vision.

Typical Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Technical/Military School completed in Information Systems Technology (IT) or Cyber Warfare Technician (CTN/CTW) with at least 6 years experience.
    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology preferred.
  • At least three to seven (3-7) years of recent, relevant professional experience performing cybersecurity duties. Experience should include:
    • Installing, supporting, troubleshooting, and maintaining RDT&E servers and computer systems.
    • Supporting the Department of Defense Information RMF process.
    • Ensuring network vulnerability scans and Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) updates are performed within the specified time frame for compliance.
    • Scheduling regular backups and ensure the data is maintained in accordance with the CDMP and with all disaster recovery plans.
    • Supporting hardware and software procurement efforts.
    • Handling installation and testing of software applications on applicable systems.
    • Performing required inventories of IT assets and respond to data calls.
    • Collecting and reporting IT metrics on a monthly basis and enter in an approved reporting tool Experience gained in a US Navy/DoD environment are preferred.
  • This position is part of the Cybersecurity workforce and designated as Work Role Systems Requirements Planner (451) Intermediate.
