Position Summary:

  • Facilities & Maintenance Lead overseas and performs maintenance activities to ensure our production facility, equipment, and systems operate safely and efficiently. This role is responsible for leading maintenance staff and contractors, coordinating repairs, and managing facility improvement projects. The position ensures that the building and grounds are properly maintained to support our high standards in custom luxury van conversions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day maintenance operations, including preventive maintenance and emergency repairs for facility systems and production equipment.

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform hands-on repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and facility systems.

  • Oversee and maintain facility infrastructure, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and building security systems.

  • Coordinate outside contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance and repair services.

  • Schedule and track preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and equipment history.

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety policies, lead by example in safe work practices.

  • Support and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.

  • Provide training and guidance to maintenance team members.

  • Assist with special projects such as equipment installations, relocations, and facility upgrades.

  • Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to minimize disruptions and maximize equipment uptime.

Preferred Experience & Skills:

  • Experience working with or maintaining multi-cam routers or similar CNC routing equipment.

  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and facility maintenance best practices.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

  • Proficient with hand and power tools.

  • Familiar with safety, environmental, and building codes.

  • Computer skills for maintenance record-keeping and work order systems.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school certification or associates degree in a related field preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and climb ladders throughout the day.

  • Lift and move up to 50 lbs. as needed.

  • Work in various environments including hot, cold, or noisy conditions.
