Equipment Operator

Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for an Equipment Operator to join our team!

Your Responsibilities:

• Run printing equipment and make sure jobs follow specs and quality standards

• Keep machines clean and well-maintained-daily, weekly, and monthly

• Mix and prep inks so the color is right and consistent

• Load and check paper for size, type, color, and amount

• Review plates to confirm layout and format

• Watch printed materials during the run to catch any quality issues

• Work with the production team to stay on schedule and adjust when needed

• Follow all safety guidelines for the job and equipment

Your Shift: 5:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Wednesday OR 6:00am-4:00pm M-Th

You Must Have:

• Comfort using tools and adjusting machines to precise settings

• Strong attention to detail and solid basic math skills

• Mechanical know-how-you like working with your hands and figuring things out

• Ability to read and follow instructions carefully

Requirements Within This Position:

• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
• Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
• Frequently required to move inside the facility
• Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

We Would Also Prefer:

• A high school diploma or GED

• Experience working with tight tolerances and precision work

• Strong communication skills-you work well with others and speak up when needed

• Good problem-solving and analytical thinking

• An eye for color and detail

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $16 - 21. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation's total compensation and benefits package for employee.
