Description Big 5 Sporting Goods is seeking motivated team members for our state-of-the-art distribution center in Riverside, CA. Utility Clerks are responsible for performing general maintenance duties which include sweeping, mopping, dusting, emptying trash, cleaning restrooms, break rooms and the front lobby. Responsibilities Charges and changes batteries for the forklift and pallet jack fleet Operates sweeper/scrubber to clean the general warehouse area Operates baler, for scrap corrugated, and load bales onto a trailer Empty trash cans throughout warehouse and dispose into warehouse compactor Conveyor / Sorter operator General helper for the maintenance technicians when needed Will perform other duties as assigned by the department manager Requirements: Candidates must be 18 years of age or older High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) or High School equivalency exam Basic math skills Upon accepting an offered position, candidates will be subject to E-Verify Pass physical, drug and alcohol test Able to regularly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds, with reasonable accommodation Maintenance Utility Clerk positions start at $18.50/hour *For Federal Protection and specific City Ordinance Information, see links below.
