Temporary staff employees are ineligible to receive benefits (leave, health coverage, State service credit, etc.). They are, however, covered by Worker's Compensation provisions.
However, any non-permanent employee hired to work 30 or more hours per week for three months or more (cumulative of all positions, and not designated as variable hour worker), must be offered the chance to enroll in the High Deductible Health Plan, within 30 days of their eligibility. Any non-permanent employee hired to work less than 30 hours per week (cumulative of all positions or designated as variable hour worker - i.e. student workers) are measured during designated measurement periods. If they average 30 or more hours per week over a designated measurement period, they will be offered the chance to enroll in the High Deductible Health Plan and will be notified of instructions.

Minimum Experience/Education |
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Graduation from high school and one year of related office experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
University Preferred Qualifications: Graduation from high school and demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities gained through four years of specialized office experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. |

- Graduation from high school and demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities gained through four years of specialized office experience.
- Experience evaluating and processing the transfer credit of readmitted and continuing students.
- Experience updating student records affected by transient study, registration changes, duplicate credit, education abroad credit, etc.
- Experience working in higher education specifically, transfer credit articulation, preferably in the Office of the Registrar, is also preferred.
- Experience with identifying processes that need to be streamlined and develops appropriate solutions, such as policy or practice changes and developing reports to monitor for data integrity reports related to the position's tasks.
- Experience and familiarity with various programs such as Banner, Microsoft Office Suite, Content 7, Raptor, and DegreeWorks is preferred.
- Ability to work closely with the Transfer Credit Team and academic departments regarding processing and improvements, focusing on accuracy, consistency, transparency, and simplicity for students.
- Strong attention to details needed.
- Willingness to learn new things.

Other Work/Responsibilities |
- Primarily, this position evaluates the transfer credit of readmitted and continuing students.
- This position also updates student records with processes such as transient study, duplicate credit, Education Abroad credit, etc.
- This position will review Joint Services Transcripts (JST), build any necessary courses, and add equivalent credit based on that JST.
- This position is expected to identify processes that need to be streamlined and develops appropriate solutions, such as policy or practice changes and developing criteria for data integrity reports related to the position's tasks.
- This position works closely with the Transfer Credit team and academic departments regarding process improvements, focusing on accuracy, consistency, transparency, and simplicity for end-users
- Direct responsibility for secure handling of sensitive and/or confidential information.
