Responsibilities
About Universal Health Services The Senior Director - Public Relations, drives planning, execution, and measurement of corporate public relations platform aimed to positively position the company and its subsidiaries while mitigating risk. Works closely with company and facility leadership, public affairs/policy team, legal team, human resources and other internal stakeholders to manage crises and develop responses as issues arise. Supports Vice President, Chief Marketing & Communications Officer in promoting the brand of the company and each of its affiliates through strategic thought leadership, news creation, effective issues management, and in influencing marketplace outcomes that drive advancement in industry and legislative practices.
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing/Communications/Journalism or related field is required. Master's degree is preferred. Minimum of 10+ years of experience in public relations, media relations, and/or corporate communications in corporate or agency setting. Travel Requirements - 10% domestic US travel.
