As an Information Architect, you will be instrumental in building the secure, automated cloud foundation that makes this transformation possible. You'll architect cutting-edge DevSecOps pipelines, implement FinOps analytics, and drive tenant-level billing transparency. This high-impact role offers significant visibility for someone passionate about cloud architecture, security, and automation.
What will you do?
Reporting to the PMO's Project Lead, your primary focus will be optimizing the user experience within our VAULT Data Platform through expert ServiceNow workflow management. This includes:
- ServiceNow Workflow Re-architecture: Lead the redesign and optimization of ServiceNow workflows to create a seamless and efficient experience for user onboarding and ongoing support of the VAULT Data Platform. This will involve streamlining existing processes, minimizing manual intervention, and implementing automation to improve service delivery. Your goal will be to create a best-in-class service experience through effective workflow design.
- VAULT Data Platform Customer Support: Leverage your deep understanding of ServiceNow to develop and manage workflows that directly support our customers interacting with the VAULT Data Platform. This includes managing requests, resolving incidents, and proactively addressing potential issues to ensure a positive customer journey.
- User Experience (UX) Enhancement: Champion improvements to the user experience by analyzing ServiceNow usage data, identifying pain points, and proposing innovative solutions. You will play a key role in driving iterative enhancements to the platform based on user feedback and data analysis.
While your primary focus will be on ServiceNow and UX, you will also contribute to broader platform initiatives, including:
- Cloud Infrastructure Alignment: Collaborate on aligning multi-cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Oracle) with the new cost-sharing architecture.
- Cost Management Framework: Contribute to the design and implementation of a comprehensive tagging strategy and Technology Business Management (TBM) framework.
- FinOps Implementation: Support the deployment of FinOps for the Vault Data Platform (VDP).
- CI/CD Pipeline Development: Assist in building and maintaining secure CI/CD pipelines.
- Containerization and Security: Contribute to containerization and hardening of services.
- Documentation and Mentorship: Contribute to project documentation and mentor developers on best practices as needed.
Do you have what it takes?
Required:
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance (current clearance preferred).
- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Certified Systems Administrator (CSA), or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)
- Bachelor's degree in MIS/CIS/CS (or related field) and 5 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree + 3 years of experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on cloud computing experience across IaaS/PaaS, with a strong understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, monitoring, security, and cost optimization.
- Familiarity with NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, RMF, STIGs, SCAP, and ATO processes.
- Working knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, Oracle) with the ability to apply concepts across platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred:
- Security+ certification (or higher)
- Experience working in IL6 or other classified environments.
- Active Secret clearance and CompTIA Security+ certification (or higher).
