The Demand Planning Manager is responsible for leading all programs and processes to ensure growth of the Parts business through parts availability and strategic pricing. This Position will lead the development and implementation of pricing strategies, pricing analytics, customer and product segmentation, price management, and pricing maintenance, and will continue to build an industry-leading supply chain, standardize business practices, KPIs, implement best practices, with the objective of achieving the highest levels of Parts availability and deliver an industry-leading customer experience. In addition, this position is responsible for optimizing working capital in parallel while achieving the goals mentioned above.

What you'll do

Manage the Team

  • Supervise a team of demand planners and price analysts.
  • Ensure processes are in place to optimize inventory and pricing
  • Actively lead and manage the different projects related to the development and consistent deployment of best practice process and system capabilities based on standard software packages (e.g., Saleforce.com, Oracle, Syncron)
  • Establish and manage to key performance measures
  • conducting performance appraisals, keeping work history files uploaded, providing ongoing coaching and feedback to supervised Team Members
  • Create a strong team spirit in the department as well as awareness of the importance of safety, quality, cooperation, and Terex Way Values
  • Establish mid and long-range visions for future state improvements and evolution of the department
  • Anticipate the advancement of business and market conditions and strategize options for managing changes

Inventory Planning

  • Subject matter expert on Syncron and other tools used for planning and pricing.
  • Plan inventory in a multi warehouse network to achieve desired fill rate and inventory turnover targets.
  • Developing effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns.
  • Implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy.
  • Forecast demand for a company's products or services using market research.
  • Adjust inventory levels based on sales trends.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to ensure product availability aligns with demand.
  • Execute the inventory plan based on historical trends and future Sales activities

Strategic Pricing

  • Develop pricing programs to maximize profitability.
  • Development of comprehensive strategic and financial plans for pricing, including segmentation schemas, annual price plans, value-based pricing approaches, and corrective action plans.
  • Development of meaningful market analytics that foster strategic thinking regarding the most significant sales and margin growth opportunities relative to industry and competitive trends.
  • Conversion of pricing theory and strategy into strong business plans and subsequent execution of discount structure and list prices.
  • Engage business leaders on assessing product portfolio and setting prices.
  • Consulting Parts and Service teams on new product pricing, product price positioning, and forecasting.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business, Data Science or related field.
  • 5 - 7+ years of management experience in a global services business - preferably with an industry-leading organization and in a multi-cultural environment
  • Proven record in managing inventory to improve fill rate while reducing dead inventory
  • Proven record in developing and executing pricing strategies to support business growth, profitability, and overall customer satisfaction
  • Excellent coaching and training skills with an orientation towards continuous improvement
  • Strong leadership skills and with the ability to build, manage, motivate, and engage a high performing team
  • Strong presentation and discussion/influencing skills internally and with customers.

Salary: The compensation range for this position is $90k - $105k annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
