What We Are Looking For:

The Director of Recruiting will lead a team of talented recruiters and oversee the full lifecycle recruiting process. This role is key to shaping recruiting strategies for a diverse candidate pool based on current business needs while anticipating future workforce demands. The Director of Recruiting will create and nurture pipelines of passive candidates, collaborate with hiring managers and the HR Team, and focus on enhancing both the candidate and hiring manager experience.

The ideal candidate will bring expertise in recruiting professional services consulting positions within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Strategic Partnerships: Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand hiring needs and organizational dynamics in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Data-Driven Recruitment: Leverage data insights to enhance recruiting efficiency, drive innovation, and influence hiring decisions.
  • Process Management: Manage the recruitment lifecycle while ensuring data accuracy within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other tools (e.g., ADP Workforce).
  • Candidate Engagement: Build and maintain a robust candidate pipeline through LinkedIn, affinity groups, and other creative sourcing channels. Engage with passive talent pools to ensure readiness for current and future roles.
  • Negotiation Expertise: Utilize expertise to structure and negotiate complex offers for top talent.
  • Creative Sourcing: Design, implement, and refine innovative and effective sourcing and recruitment strategies.
  • Industry Expertise: Leverage AEC industry market data to influence and guide recruiting efforts across various business functions.
  • Training and Coaching: Mentor recruiters and hiring managers on recruitment best practices, interview techniques, and process improvements.
  • Project Leadership: Lead and support key Talent Acquisition initiatives and projects.

What You Will Need:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience:
    1. 10+ years of recruiting experience, with at least 5 years successfully recruiting within the AEC industry for roles in Engineering, Environmental, Advisory Services, or Construction Management.
    2. Proven success in developing and managing talent acquisition programs (e.g., College Relations, Internship Programs, Hiring Manager Training).
  • Technical Skills:
    1. Proficiency with online job platforms and social media tools (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed).
    2. Experience with ATS systems (EnSafe uses ADP Workforce).
  • Key Competencies:
    1. Strong sourcing and networking skills with the ability to implement innovative strategies to locate top talent.
    2. Exceptional organizational and multitasking capabilities to manage multiple open requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
    3. Ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
    4. Self-motivated and driven to excel in a dynamic and evolving work environment.
