Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical HR Analyst to join our Human Resources team. This role is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting on HR data to support strategic decision-making. The HR Analyst will partner across functions to deliver insights on workforce trends, support compliance efforts, and optimize HR processes.

- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of employee data
- For union employees ensure data accuracy related to processes governed by Collective Bargaining Agreements, such as auto pay progression, perfect attendance, and other contractual provisions
- As it relates to all non-union employees, support the Employee Action Request process by ensuring correct data throughout all transactions
- Monitor and analyze key workforce metrics-such as turnover, headcount, and compensation trends-to support compliance and enable data-driven decision-making
- Assist in preparing reports for compliance with EEO, AAP, Pay Equity, and other regulatory bodies
- Monitor and maintain employee work authorization and immigration records to ensure compliance with legal and company requirements
- Monitor compliance with California labor laws, including meal and rest break requirements, pay practices, and timekeeping accuracy, and support timely reporting and issue resolution.
- Ensure all HR data is audit-ready and supports company policies and procedure
- Analyze employee life cycle data to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities
- Support workforce planning efforts by projecting hiring needs and identifying talent gaps
- Conduct compensation and benefits benchmarking using internal and external data
- Leverage data-driven insights to identify inefficiencies, gaps, or opportunities for improvement within HR processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to review, design, and implement enhanced workflows and automation solutions that support efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition and Payroll teams
- Provide analytical support for HR projects such as employee engagement surveys, and policy reviews
- Develop recurring and ad hoc HR reports
- Track and present data related to HR goals and initiatives
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Analytics, Data Science, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in an HR Analyst, or data-focused HR role
- Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.) and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau
- Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or ADP
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
- Experience in a mid- to large-sized organization
- Familiarity with compliance reporting (EEO-1, AAP, etc.)
- Understanding of workforce planning and compensation structures
Compensation: $80,000 - $90,000 United States Perks
