PURPOSE

Support the reporting needs of North American Supply Chain Management (NAM SCM) by:

* Working with SCM and its business and operational stakeholders to create effective analytical and reporting tools that facilitate expert control of the supply chain

* Providing data transparency in the most automated and efficient way to support decision-making within the NAM SCM operational team and its partners

* Developing novel approaches for analyzing and visualizing millions of records of data to communicate key actionable insights to the board, operators, and all levels in between

The role ensures NAM SCM has visibility and understanding of its supply chain via the massive amounts of data spread across multiple systems. The Analyst, Performance Management will use advanced analytics to explain past performance, forecast future performance, and confidently recommend actions with predictable and optimal outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Provide analytical support to streamline and sustain the continuity of reports being generated within the department
* Develop new analytical tools and operational reporting for SCM functions and the department as a whole
* Validate and reconcile existing and new reporting tools against actual performance
* Challenge the current reporting structure and identify areas of improvement
* Support specific projects undertaken within the department through data gathering, analysis, report development, presentations and recommendations
* Develop understanding of interdependencies between systems, datasets, and processes
* Support cross functional relationships to discuss and seek resolution to problem solve issues discovered during the analysis of various reports/data.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

* Supply Chain / Operations Research / Management Science background
* Process thinking and excellent analytical skills
* Ability to accept and meet critical deadlines with good planning and organization skills
* Ability to manage and participate in complex global and regional projects as assigned
* Ability to anticipate problems and offer solutions within the reporting team
* Ability to challenge the way in which things are done

REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor's degree from college or university required with emphasis in supply chain management, operations research, or management science preferred
* Minimum 2+ years related progressive work experience and/or training
* Documented skills in data mining and analytics
* Proficiency in SQL or other programming languages
* Proficiency in Power BI, and other visualization tools
* MS Excel (pivot tables, power queries, macros) skills
* Experience with SAP AFS and Manhattan WMS a plus
* Fluent in English (oral and in writing)

We officially returned to office in a hybrid work environment, working 3 days in office and 2 days remote. The working location of this position is Spartanburg, SC or Portland, OR.
