Role and Responsibilities
- Perform installations, preventive maintenance, and repairs on commercial HVAC/R systems
- Use diagnostic tools to identify and resolve system issues quickly and effectively
- Communicate with customers to explain service needs, recommend solutions, and ensure satisfaction
- Calibrate systems to manufacturer specifications and industry standards
- Replace faulty components and systems following best practices
- Accurately complete service reports, maintenance logs, and other required documentation
- Adhere to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies
- Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and product updates
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on commercial HVAC/R experience
- Degree, diploma, or certification in HVAC/R
- Universal EPA Certification
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Current, valid driver's license
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration principles
- Skilled in diagnostic tools and equipment
- Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Preferred Skills
- PLT Licensed or registered unlicensed PLT
- Experience with HVAC software or mobile apps
- Strong customer service skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
- Comfortable working in varied environments including commercial sites and outdoors
- Able to work in tight spaces, on ladders, and at heights
