Position Overview: Georgia State University's Instructional Innovation and Technology (IIT) division is seeking a skilled professional to join our vibrant and growing team as Senior Project Manager - Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). This position plans, monitors, and manages a large, multifaceted project from initiation through completion, secures required resources, uses formal processes and tools to establish work plans, secures multi-disciplinary resources for each phase of the project, and manages budgets, risks, issues, and changes. This position has the added responsibility of supporting large-scale initiatives mandated by the division, university, Board of Regents, governing state or federal agencies, etc. Key Responsibilities: The scope of responsibilities for this position will include but is not limited to the following essential duties: * Assess and resolve all high priority project risks as they are encountered. * Build, lead, and coach project teams throughout project lifecycles; Define and create project plans for project portfolio, and product prioritization and implementation. * Ensure all projects adhere to project methodology compliance standards set by the IIT Project Management Office; Continually update relevant business stakeholder of project status. * Ensure all projects meet success parameters and Return on Investment (ROI) targets stated in business case; Partner with business sponsors to define success metrics and criteria. * Evaluate trade-offs between project size and complexity, cost, urgency, risk, and stakeholder value. * Facilitate all operational checkpoint activities throughout the lifecycle of projects. * Other duties as assigned (e.g. professional development training) Application Deadline: Applications must be submitted by August 5, 2025 (subject to change without notice). Minimum Hiring Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and three years of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience. Preferred Hiring Qualifications: * Experience supporting large-scale IT implementation projects within the higher education sector. College/Business Unit
