POSITION OVERVIEW
The Campus Support - Life Enrichment provides advice and assists with planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating and directing the life enrichment and memory care programs. Monitors and adopts industry standards to provide the highest level of customer satisfaction. Other key responsibilities include: * Provides advice and assists with planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating and directing the life enrichment staff to assure exemplary processes in customer service, resident engagement, memory care services, and life enrichment. * Reviews Customer Satisfaction Survey results and ensures Health Campuses seek improvement(s) and action plans. * Participates in Peer Reviews or State/Federal Surveys as needed to provide support and assistance. * Participate in interviewing and selecting Life Enrichment and Memory Care leadership and campus staff roles. * Meets .50 volunteers per resident expectation at assigned Division Health Campuses. * Provides training and orientation of campus Life Enrichment and Legacy staff including but not limited to Kaleidoscope, virtual memory care, and best friends. * Assists with the development, implementation, supervision and ongoing evaluation of the activities program, including the completion and/or directing/delegating the completion of the activities component of the comprehensive assessment. * Contributes to and/or assists/delegates the contribution to the comprehensive care plan goals and approaches that are individualized to match the skills, abilities and interests/preferences of each resident. * Participates in QAPI program as requested to provide interdisciplinary feedback as needed. * Supports the management in each Health Campus by providing knowledge, advice and/or counsel to Divisional Vice President, Executive Directors, Directors of Health Services, Health Campus, or regulatory staff members regarding life enrichment programming (activities/memory care). * Supports and assists Legacy team members in communicating with resident family members and maintaining relationships with area Alzheimer's advocacy groups. * Establishes and maintains rapport with regulatory agencies, professional organizations, teaching institutions, and community leaders to enhance and promote the Company's professional image and culture. * Maintains up-to-date knowledge of the Memory Care operational details and how it relates to the entire Health Campus. * Coordinates and participates in Memory Care/Kaleidoscope Legacy portion of Peer Reviews and Mock Surveys as needed. * Coordinates and manages division resident trips in support live a dreams. * All other duties as assigned.
Senior Level: Requires 3-5 years' experience and associate's degree in related field. Bachelor's degree preferred. Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist. Activities Professional who is licensed or registered, if applicable by a recognized accrediting body or by the State in which practicing. Physical requirements Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during working hours. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs. Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and all business associates outside of the health campus.
